Potential for Marbling in Wagyu: Growth Hormone (GH) Exon 5 genotyping - Gene test 2
Potential for Oleic Acid-rich, high quality fat in Wagyu: Stearoyl-CoA Desaturase (SCD) genotyping
Please note: SCD test can be requested within four weeks from date of GH test results received by clients without effecting the discount rate for both tests if not requested together.
PG will only store DNA samples up to six months after testing unless an Official Certificate is requested.
An Official Certificate of the genotype can be supplied to the client by Prescribe Genomics Co. for $ 50.
This includes the cost of storage for the DNA for 3 years.
Where required DNA fingerprinting can be provided for identification purpose at an additional cost of $ 200.
